How to Use PC Builder?

At PC Builder, we make your life easy. Not only do we have all your PC components listed in one place, but we also provide you with an estimate, as well as an easy way to buy all these parts.

We have over 20 different kinds of components listed across over 13 categories! Everything you need to build your dream PC under one umbrella! Not only that, PC Builder also ensures that you get the ratings of different products, so you know which one is better.

Another big problem that PC Builder solves is that of part COMPATIBILITY. Not all components work with all PCs. However, here, you can test and ensure that all the parts that you are buying for your custom PC build are compatible with each other and work well.

PC Builder Step-by-Step Guide

Now that you know what this platform is all about, let me explain how to use it to build your dream PC. Here’s a detailed, step-by-step guide:

Step 1: Add Components

There are over 13 categories of components you can choose and add from. These include CPU, Motherboard, CPU cooler, RAM, Storage, GPU, Case, Power Supply, Operating System, Monitor, Case Fan, Networking Utilities, Peripherals and Accessories.

One by one, go through all of them and click on each category to go through the various options you have. For instance, when you click on CPU, you will get many options across different price points.

You will also see different parameters on which each of these listed CPUs has been compared. These include Core Count, Core Clock, Boost Clock, TDP, Integrated Graphics, and Simultaneous Multithreading. These parameters differ for different kinds of components.

Next to each product, you will also see an aggregated rating from Amazon, based on user reviews. You can choose to sort by ratings, and view only those components listed 4 stars or above, or view them all, based on your choice.

Once you have decided which of these products you want to go with, click on the 'add to build' button and you will be redirected to the home page, where your chosen product would have been added.

Proceed to add all the components that you need for your PC.

Step 2: Check Compatibility

Once you have added all the components, you then have to check the top of the home page, where you will see an option that says 'Compatibility'. If it reads 'No Issues', you are good to go, and all the parts that you have added to your build will work well with each other.

Step 3: Save Your Build (Optional)

Now that you have decided which parts you want to add to your PC, you can choose to either buy them straight-up (Step 4), or save the list for now, and have it reviewed by your friends/technical experts before you buy your custom-built PC.

To do that, check the top portion of the page, and click on the 'Save' button. You will be asked to sign in and save it via your Google account. Post that, you can exit the site.

Whenever you open the PC Builder next, you can choose to click on the login button on the top right and log in using your Google account to get your saved build back.

Step 4: Buy!

Once you have decided on the components to buy, and have added everything to the list here, click on the 'Buy All at Once' button on the top. This will allow you to add all the products straight into your Amazon Cart and have them ordered straight away.

However, in case you want to buy individual parts, you have the 'Buy' button listed in every component individually as well!
